我的英语班老师姓宋，她是一个有着一头乌黑亮丽的长发，个子高挑的女生。可惜这样一个美女老师却有着一个与她外表极为不相称的外号——“男人婆”。
这个外号的缘由就是我们整个英语班同学没有一个人看见过宋老师穿过裙子，宋老师好像忘了女生还有裙子这样的装扮。每次上课的时候永远都是一条黑色长裤，上衣也是简简单单的衬衫或t恤。头发永远是盘在脑后。最重要的'是她对我们非常的严厉，我们一见她就仿佛老鼠见了猫。所以我们背后都叫她“男人婆”。直到那一天我发现了一件新鲜的事……

记得我来这个学校的时候，英语一概不知，之所以会这样，是因为我在以前，那个学校总是和同学传纸条。对老师做鬼脸。所以每次都考“鸡蛋”。
我爸妈听说湘郡的教学质量好，“便逼我”进入了这个学校。第一次在上英语课的时候，老师使用了各种游戏来提高我们对英语的兴趣，提升课堂的气氛。看着大家有说有笑我便也融入了其中，一边学习，一边玩。何乐而不为？这让我们每节课都很认真听课，老师一边教一边翻译。看见老师每次问的问题大家都刷刷的举起手，我也不甘示弱也大胆的举了起了那只沉重的手，这一次，我万万没有想到，我既然答对了。我无比的骄傲与自豪，这是史上第一次，以后对老师提出来的问题我都大胆举手，积极发问，上课的时候我也有不懂的问题就去问老师。
最让我感动的是，有一次，下完晚自习，我怀着满问号的疑问去老师办公室。准备问老师几个问题，刚进去就看见老师在备课找我们喜欢听的英语歌改作业。一桌子的练习册，我喊了几次报告老师居然都没有听到，可见老师对工作的投入。
见老师没有反应，我不忍心打扰她工作，就走了。我想老师会不会应太累不会来上课出乎意料的是老师居然来了，大家听了都很伤心、难过为我们牺牲睡眠时间替我们改作业。一天还要上几节课。真是太伟大了。所以我们要努力奋斗得第一不让老师替我们操心。
